Winter CSA

The Winter CSA is for those who want to eat fresh and local food all year round. We offer two sizes: small, meant for a couple, and a large share for a small family.

• The small baskets typically contain 6-7 items
• The large baskets have 7-8 items with a little extra of each item.

The winter CSA runs from early November until February on a bi-weekly basis for a total of 7 baskets. If there is an item you don’t like in your basket, we offer a swap box so you can switch it out. In each basket, we try to include the staples everyone loves and some vegetables that might be new and interesting for you.
Most baskets will have carrots, potatoes, onions, garlic, and squash, and then we will mix things like Brussel sprouts, beets, leeks, sweet potatoes, parsnips and winter radishes. Every basket will also include at least one fresh green, like a lettuce mix, spinach, arugula or baby kale.

The cost of the CSA is for the entire season. This can be paid by e-transfer, cash, cheque, or credit. Our preference is E-transfer as it is the easiest for us and we do not have to pay a fee, unlike credit.
